Strengthening of rock
Compound «SKAT»
is a universal geocement for all varieties of rock and ground.
Owing to its low viscosity it possesses high penetrating properties, it polymerizes in media of any humidity and in a wide temperature range, moreover cement seams are characterized by zero filtration and high mechanic strength.
The main physical, mechanical and technological
properties of the compound «SKAT» are as follows:

In case of necessity and in accordance with customers
order the alteration range of these parameters may be expanded.
Adhesive strength of the compound «SKAT»,
which is the main measure of the cement quality, is compared to the
expensive foreign samples of polyurethane and is characterized by a
very high durability in time. In rock and ground with high water content
that are prone to plastic deformation adhesive strenght of the compound
SKATis less than 2 mPa.
Compound «SKAT» is
ecologically safe.
Unlike other carbamidebased compounds,
this compound in the process of hardening does not evolve free formaldehyde
(methylene oxide).

Application
Compound
«SKAT» can be used efficiently when solving a wide range
of practical goals among which the following ones should be noted:
strengthening
of nonstable rock massif when driving and restoring underground
mine workings;

strengthening
of coal massif prone to sudden coal caving and breaking in conditions
of stops and development headings at the steep seams;

strengthening
of rock massif and soils to prevent slides and rock falls;
strengthening
of pit edges;

waterproofing
of embanking waterdevelopment structures (dams, embankments and
canal edges);

strengthening
buildings and structures foundations in complicated operation conditions;

strengthening
and hydroinsulating contours of structures and their surrounding massif
when developing underground areas of large cities;
